What is Aesthetics?
The concept of "aesthetics" has always varied from society to society at different times. In general terms, "aesthetic" means what is beautiful and proportionate according to the current taste of that society. Aesthetic surgery is a scientific branch of medicine developed to provide aesthetically positive changes in the human face and body. Aesthetic surgeries and procedures can be performed by Plastic Surgeons. In this sense, the first thing that comes to mind is aesthetic nose surgery. Nowadays, the planning of aesthetic nose surgery can be done in advance with a computer, enabling a better understanding of what the patient wants and what the doctor can do, rather than what the result will be. Methods developed to make the face look more dynamic than it actually is; temple lifting, lifting eyebrows to the desired level, correction of eyelid wrinkles and bags, cheek grooves, correction of lines on the forehead and upper lip, plumping of lips, correction of sagging jowls, correction of acne scars and blemishes, both surgical operations and non-surgical methods - skin peeling. It can be done by skin scraping (dermabrasion) and appropriate injection methods, and the person recovers in a short time.
